Done Geton געטאן
Finished Geendikt געענדיקט
Had Gehat געהאט
Was (has been) Geven געווען
Went Gegangn געגאנגן
Written Geshribn געשריבן
NOTE: As you can see above the past participles with the letters "GE." There are some exceptions to this rule however knowing this fact is cool as when you hear this "GE" then you can recognize that the conversation is talking about the past.

All the people did as he said Ale mentshn hobn geton vi er hot gezogt. אַלע מענטשן האָבן געטאן ווי ער האט געזאגט
They went to the synagogue Zey zaynen gegangn in shul. זיי זענען געגאנגען אין שול
Why did they not do what he wanted? Farvos hobn zey nisht geton vos er hot gevolt פאַר וואָס האָבן זיי נישט געטאָן וואָס ער האט געוואלט
Where did we once live? Vu hobn mir a mol gevoynt? ווו האָבן מיר אַ מאָל געוווינט?
We once lived in Poland Mir hobn a mol gevoynt in Poylen מיר האָבן אַמאָל געוווינט אין פוילן
The word "A mol" in the above phrases means; "once" as in "once upon a time". However "A mol" can also mean "sometimes."
